This garden is the only closed park that in atmosphere somewhat resembles the parks of Paris. The park was once a part of its neighbouring palace of the same name (Károlyi palota), today however it is separated by a fence. The park is surrounded by high buildings, however its tall trees provide a spacious feeling to the garden. It is open from sunrise to sunset with tiny walkways, big flowerbeds and shady benches scattered across for visitors wishing to relax for a while. There is a also a football field, a well equipped playground and a large sand pit for the children and there is no need to worry about their safety as the park is fenced-off from passing-by cars. The Károlyi Garden highly recommended for a short break after a tour of the city.
