If we make our way from Astoria towards the National Museum (Nemzeti M?zeum), we may come across some interesting trifles which only a few may be aware of. At the beginning of the Century, right beside the brick wall of the University were the stops of the so called "Omnibuses†which were used as means of public transport and were drawn by horses. The bored coachmen, who waited around, would scratch various messages and drawings into the walls which today, after a bit of searching are still visible. The wall was covered with glass by a famous city preserver however these were soon stolen off the carvings. Who knows, maybe it was done by the ghosts of the coachmen?
